Integrations
Built to connect, honestly staged
PaddockDesk is architected around real integration interfaces from day one - for parts suppliers, customer communication and accounting - so connecting a live provider is an adapter, not a rebuild. Supplier and parts connectivity is where that's heading next.
Why it's built this way
A real interface, not a placeholder
Storage, the parts supplier, customer messaging and accounting each sit behind their own small interface inside PaddockDesk. The alpha uses local or mock implementations today - production versions replace them without screen changes, which is exactly where supplier and parts integration is headed as a major strength of the platform.
Status today
What's live, and what's being built
Labelled honestly - nothing here is claimed as live unless it actually is.
Vehicle-based parts identification
Identify a vehicle by registration, VIN, or make and model, directly from a job - the first step of the parts workflow works today.
Supplier connectivity
Live supplier search, real-time pricing, stock checking and ordering are being built against a supplier-neutral order interface. Every planned capability stays "awaiting documentation" until a supplier publishes its API - nothing shown in the parts workflow today represents a real order.
Customer app delivery
Premium is designed to send health reports and invoices straight to a customer app, with digital history and notifications. The send action exists in the product, but the customer-app connection itself is pending integration - nothing is sent yet.
Invoice email delivery
Invoices are built to be emailed to customers through a server-side email interface. That interface isn't connected yet, so the send action is disabled and says so - nothing is sent.
Accounting
The invoice model carries an external reference field designed for a future accounting connection, so PaddockDesk invoices can sync out without changing how jobs or invoices work day to day. No accounting provider is connected yet.
Role-based access
Owner, Service Advisor, Technician and Admin roles apply one permission matrix to navigation and every action - the foundation every future integration is built on top of.
